Digitally Controlled, Sequential Vapor Injection Conversion Kit. The closed loop CNG digital controller is an advanced computerized device factory that can be pre-programmed for each specific application.
Digital signals gathered from the engine operation, such as the exhaust gas oxygen content, RPM, TPS, Fuel Pressure, Vacuum Pressure, Fuel Temperature and Gasoline Injector Actuation Pulses. In many late model applications the SVIS can connect directly to the OBDII system. This digital system controls and adjusts the CNG ratio by precisely pulsing measured vapor fuel (measured in milliseconds) to each separate cylinder injector.
Vapor injectors are installed directly into the intake manifold as close as possible to the OEM gasoline injectors virtually eliminating “lag” found in other systems.
The digital controller keeps the onboard gasoline computer active in its monitoring, diagnostics and controlling functions even while the vehicle operates on the alternative fuel.
Technocarb CNG digital controllers allow for full on road diagnostics, calibration and configuration utilizing user-friendly Windows based platform software which will run on a laptop or desktop computer. Many vehicle applications allow for direct connection to the OBDII diagnostic port (CAN Bus) allow unequaled performance and enabling fuel trim data to be read on your laptop (no need to use a separate OBDII scan tool!)

Technocarb SVIS Sequential CNG Injection Systems are designed for vehicles equipped with electronic combustion emission control and diagnostics systems (OBDII or EOBD), with a catalytic converter and oxygen sensors. When properly installed and calibrated, Technocarb's SVIS complies with international emission standards.
Technocarb SVIS systems can be installed on engines with multi-point fuel injection, sequential injection, semi-sequential or single point injection. This system is also designed for multiple displacement engines.
Technocarb SVIS is also compatible with standard turbo charged engines; however, vehicles with high level supercharging may experience problems running with CNG. Please check with us in these cases. Please indicate vehicle make, model, and year, as some makes will require a special ECU configuration.

Technocarb conversions are designed to operate as seamlessly as possible. Starting your vehicle on CNG is as easy as starting your vehicle on gasoline. Bi-fuel conversions always start on gasoline and then automatically switch to CNG when the engine reaches a software-configurable set point (normally 60°C / 140°F). This is to ensure that the gasoline system is always operating correctly, and no problems occur when the CNG storage is depleted. This also prevents the gasoline from becoming stale.
Although injection systems require 1 bar (~14.5 psig) of vapour pressure to operate, CNG operation is not affected by ambient temperature because CNG is a high pressure gas rather a liquefied gas. When the fuel is depleted and tank pressure drops as a result, the system switches back to gasoline operation automatically.
This system operates by duplicating the operation of the existing gasoline EFI system. A sequential gasoline injection system results in a corresponding sequential CNG injection system. A batch gasoline port-injection system results in a corresponding batch CNG port-injection system. A single-point or TBI gasoline system results in a batch CNG port-injection system.
A fuel selector switch is installed on the dashboard of bi-fuel vehicles. A yellow LED indicator lamp indicates CNG operation while a red LED indicator lamp shows gasoline operation. Depressing the fuel selector button switches the fuel mode from gasoline to CNG and vice-versa.
In addition to the normal mode of operation, this system may also be configured through software to operate in mono-fuel mode so that the gasoline system is never used.
Most vehicles utilize the gasoline fuel level indicator when operating on CNG. Some vehicles only have a sight gauge on the CNG tank and some have an indicator integrated into the fuel selector switch.
Drive your vehicle on natural gas as you normally would on gasoline. In the event that your CNG storage is depleted during normal operation, the system will automatically switch you back to gasoline.
